I've seen it

A guy at the field I played at introduced that concept to me. He said he used to have a scope on one side and a red-dot on the other back when mags came out and pump guns were still the in-thing

So people are now just realizing that the automag rail was milled as a sight rail??? I use to have what was called a sidecar. Basicly it was two ring scope mounts and a tube between them to hold a short straightshot squeegie. I still have it some place.

Turns out what he has is a scope/red-dot sight. It's battery powered and is outta juice, so I didn't get to fool around with it.

And about the barrel, what he had was ugly. It was like a more slighty-silvery than the automag body 1st piece, then a red 14 inch AA tip. Looks terrible on the gun, but whatever works for him. :)
