Wouldn't the halo need to be sanded as well?

my new egg was rather large on my bko... but just set it on top of the rise, and push down on the front of the egg, while twisting it clockwise. this should make it much easier to get it into the rise. if its all-out too fat for the rise, then that means time to get a new rise!!

also, you'll probably wanna cut off about 1 centimeter of the neck off :o

I wouldnt' cut off any length of the feed neck on an Egg.

Reason being the Egg II eye reads gaps in paint...so it won't start feeding till there is a gap..the longer the feedneck to larger amount of error you grant the egg.

For a Halo B since it detects motion cutting the feedneck won't matter.

I have 3 Egg II and a Halo B. I noticed that on the egg II that i took like 1/2" off it has a tendancy to chop compared to the Egg that I did not cut the feed neck.

All of my Egg II have the Y boards.
