Is there any R&D being done to improve gas efficiency?

Efficiency being the main reason I no longer own a Mag I am curious. I have been waiting and hoping that you guys might be looking into dropping the required input pressure and increasing efficiency. I would buy another mag if I could shoot at least 4 pods and a hopper off of a 68/3k. I could only get a hopper and 3 pods with my L10 Emag.

    Thanks

shoot less or buy a 4500...

Between the innovations of the LX and the overall consistency of the mag valves, I wouldn't get too caught up in the whole gas efficiency war...

I get 6 pods and a hopper easy off of a 2500 psi fill on a 68/4500 on my emag with lvl 10 with an input of only 700psi. If you're having that poor of gas efficiency, you need to seriously lower your input and seal up whatever leaks you have.

On a 4.5k fill I can shoot my entire pack (10 pods + hopper) and still have plenty of gas left over to taunt the other guys with.

Were you using the longest spring in your LX set up? I was having low shot counts when I was running the longest spring. But ever since I changed to the shortest spring, I've gain more shots per fill. I haven't actually counted but it was definitely significant.

I use a 45 but am forced to fill off of scuba tanks at the fields I play at. I used the middle spring in my L10. I had no leaks. I shot a mag for 4 years and I know how to work on them. As far as I could tell there was nothing wrong with my mag. I got near identical efficiency with my old style RT. I am not caught up on efficiency I just want to shoot 4 pods and a hopper. Thats not alot to ask for. I have 3 buddies that shoot RT Pro's all with L10 and they are getting about 3 pods and a hopper.

I get about 7 pods and hopper out of a 68/45. It is not bad, but I too wish it was a little better. I fill ever game so that I don't run out accidently during a long game.

              thats hopper and 6-7 pods

I get about 700-800(if i'm lucky) shots off my 68ci/3k flatline

It is not great but its not the worst I have seen I guess (although on the low end)... there are just other GREAT markers that do have better efficiency.... I am not sure how much they can really chance this with any add on part without changing the valve design...
