If I read your post correctly...Yes you can put an I frame on a micromag and link it.

I've seen several Iframes on Micromags. Micro's take the same regular mag frames like others.

I actually had a Micromag so I know for a fact they do fit. The sear pin is threaded so if it isn't threaded in then that would explain why it isn't holding. The regular automag/MM sear pin is to large to fit so I know your not mistaken with that. See if it threads in. If it doesn't check the threads on both. Might have a stripped out hole which is not usually good.

My micromag doesn't have a threaded sear pin. So I put a drop of clear silicone over the pin to hold it in place.

no i know its threaded about the sear pin but there is a pin that holds the sear the rail/body its near the back do u guys get what im saying not the sear pin a pin the holds the sear in place from what i understand there needs to be a grove in the trigger frame from one of th emag techs at my field the guy already used an intelliframe on it but maybe its a just the stock frame maybe it was diffrent from the other ones

Old Micromags used the frame to hold in the sear pin. With these micromags, you can not use an Intelliframe.

My guess that this Micromag also has a removable ball detent.

                      micromag sear pin

I had the same problem with my micromag when I added an intelliframe too it. You can use the frame, but need to find someone to tap the hole in the body for the threaded sear pin from Pro Team Products ( took me like 3-4 weeks to get them so order tham ASAP! )

If you dont want to use a threaded sear pin, tap the side of the body where the sear pin goes in, shorten the sear pin, and put a allen head grub/set screw in there to hold it all in place. If you note, one side of the body is smaller to keep the pin in place, so make sure you tap the larger side.

                      Styg

Note in the picture the intelliframe DOES NOT come up and around the body so the sear pin can not be held in place like the older Micromag frames.

yes they do understand. The DOWEL pin which holds your sear assembly is apparently not form fitting to the hole drilled in the micro body. Correct??

Quick fix slap it in and epoxy the stupid thing in until you get a more permanent fix for it.

Your micro will take and intelliframe, stock AGD frame, Benchmark frame so on and so forth. Fix the dowel pin problem and go from there. If you have further problems bring it to Sams in a few weeks and i will show you how easy it can be.

I do understand, and I will say it again. Without some modification, that pin will fall out. The stock frame has lips that come up on the sides that hold the pin in. The Intelliframe does not have these lips and yes, the pin will fall out. Someone talked about putting a set screw in, this would probably work.

This is a second generation Micromag, the newer versions have a threaded sear pin so it's not an issue with them.
