    Wahh....I lost my on/off pin!

It seemed like there was much higher pressure in the gun for some reason, I couldn't bleed it like i normally did, then the on off went across the field and i lost the pin, luckily i did find the asseble, though i did have a retro one, but lost my e-mag one :-(. I know plz dont flame me, though I do deserve it for doing something that stupid.

i still don't understand how people can leave pressure in the gun when they take the valve off, i didn't even think it was really possible

when i degass i pull the trigger until it doesn't do anything then unscrew the tank.

I had an angel air attached with a micro line, so I couldn't really degass it, normally i undo the fieldstrip screw and twist the valve until it releases pressure, but it didnt' do it :-(

that would empty the whole tank

you either need, on/off which i guess the AGENL AIR doesn't have, or a quick disconnect
I knew not what I did but am now edumacated

it's a little tough to disconnect a hose when theres still pressure in there :)

loosen the fitting and let it vent. I thought angel airs had on/offs... if they don't... those things are crappier than i thought.

You need a proconnect or a slide check in there. Both of those will hold back pressure on the tank side while dumping it on the valve side. Assuming you put them in the right way that is.

With level 10 you can no longer disconnect the Macro Line to do this. Its a bit more pressure retained when you shoot it down than it used to be. Making it almost impossible to disconnect the line now.

Get the right tool for the job. And do not leave pressure in your valve before you unscrew the field strip screw. No no no no no!!!

AGD, where we are so good we can do it with only ONE tube!

Some one is gonna lose an eye while taking a valve out one of these times. This is why people say to wear goggles while working on your gun. Does anyone do this, nope, but we all should (Atleast until we know there is no more gas in the gun).

As for these being residual pressure in th valve even after disconnecting the line, I'm not sure if that is possible, and if it is, there is something wrong with that valve. I am not a big fan of the Proconnects (they are large and the early models use to fail quite reguarly) they are really handy now.

I find that I'm able to pop the QD on my own valve to release the pressure....failing that, I can remove the tank and open my inline on/off. After reading these stories, I've got into the habit of being very careful about where the bottom of my valve is pointed when I remove the assembly.

Have their been any reported instances of pressure remaining in the valve when the air input line is open to the atmosphere?
