AGD Pride Takes 1st at "Showdown in Motown" Tourny in Detroit!
Thats right folks, AGD Pride took 1st place at the "Showdown in Motown" 5-man tournament, held in Detroit, MI at Ultimate Paintball Challenge (www.upcindoor.com).
The tournament was a blast and we all had a lot of fun. I felt that we played extremely well, both individually and as a team, and we did a good job executed our gameplan(s) too.
We played 8 games in the prelims, only dropping one (although there were a couple of close calls
) and headed into the finals ranked 2nd.
In the finals, we dropped our 1st game (doh!) but fought back hard (along with a little luck) to win the next 2 in order to take 1st place.
We walked away with trophys and over $1,100 in cash. Not to shabby!
Sorry, no pics this time, but the fields website should have a write up about the event and some pics posted shortly.
We definately impressed a lot of people at the event with the X-mags and Warp Feeds, especially when we didn't break a single ball with our lvl 10's.
It was great to see their reactions and hear them talk about the equipment. And hopefully we'll see a few of the folks from the event here on the forums too.
