I have an older AGD Flatline nitro (the bottle is dated '99, and the guages look very old school). It's out of hydro, and I was wondering if anyone knew if AGD would update it to current standards, assuming andything ever changed.

What do you mean current standards?
If it's a 3k, all you need to do is get it hydro'd. There are no "upgrades" for tanks. You can get different guages if you want though. -
Day is right, the 3K Flatlines have not changed. Really the only ones that had changes were the handfull of original prototype blue regged 4500 Flatlines. And even there I am not sure if anything but the reg seat had changed.

Yes there was an update, I remember talking to AGD about it when my tank was acting up.
Can't give anymore info beyond that. But yeh, get it rehydrod and go play. :)

This is a new product to the market just like the Flatline was 2 years ago. They fixed the problems they were having with the Flatlines and made a Level 2. All Level 1 Flatlines were upgraded for free and there has yet to be any more problems with the Flatline.

Part of the trouble is getting it hydro'ed. My friend sent his off to Texas and he had to struggle just to get it back after they didn't do anything for 2 weeks. Also they are very expensive. I'm not willing to pay $40+ for that. THe places the scuba shops around here send them off to only do the larger tanks according to them. So I'm really at a loss for that.Comment

$35-$40 is about the norm for it. It's better than buying a new adjustable tank.
If you want, PM me. I know Paintballistix in NJ has one or two tanks we are sending out for Hydro. We can get yours done as well.Comment

cheap and 24hr turn around.
when they did my tank the shipped it back the same day as they got it. they say this is the norm

man i can get any size tank(even scuba tanks) rehydroed through my local proshop. the owner drives them to the place about 15 miles away and he charges 10 bucks a piece. He is big into other tanks like bulk ones so the guys at the hydro shop give him discounts and he can get it done cheap.Why doesnt anything work for me.Comment
