Well first of all ya never know with these X mags. I do know these went to PK so they should be pretty good. And don't assume anything from pictures and miss matched layed out parts.

Also some of these are no doubt Team Markers and they get color options we normal people do not get.

Just wait and see. We get some closer looks at them when they start assembly and the pieces are matched up a little better. I see a lot of things laying next to things they do not go with.

I'm not saying it looks like junk...just that it's not quite what I had anticipated. I know PK can't read my mind and so I'm not faulting them but based on what I had submitted my color choice as I don't see it as being what I had asked for. I'm not throwing my hands up like a two-year old and saying I don't want it, but I'm kind of putting it out there for those with delusions of grandeur that you may not get your marker exactly the way you thought of it in your head. That's life...you either deal..or you go buy a Spyder...

hehe... well actually there is no realy way to know we have even seen your Marker. There were like 75 markers in this batch. And I do not see that many in the pictures. But if I was to guess and its one of them then I would guess it was that top one of the two that seem to be Flat Black fronts to Blue Backs in Dust finish. I cannot tell if they both the same and its different light or what.

However I agree its not what I call Royal deep blue when it came out in that dust finish. However I have no idea what that would look like in dust finish from the get go and of course no one else did either. I do not believe it has been done before. It perhaps is a deep as they can get in that dust finish? Might be a limitation? I do not know. But I know we asked for Deep Royal Blue in Dust and no thats not realy what I imagined it would be either. I thought it might be at least a shade or two deeper than that myself.

Lets see if we can get Gunga to get a closer better shot of those tomorrow for us.

well just to throw it out there, color interpretations are very hard to make. And If you got a blue to black fade marker after asking for "Royal blue", be happy. Royal blue is closer to purple than blue in the True Royal blue color. But it has been tainted by clothes manufacturers that cannot reproduce the colors on fabric, so that is there "royal blue". Basically what im saying is, If you ordered a car in royal blue, without selecting a color chip, you might as well pick purple. So be happy that it actually looks blue.

A- Pictures RARELY are acurate to color
B- Shop lighting on top of that.
C- Who knows what's who's anyway.Pretty early to be
saying "MINE"
D- Black and silver fade rules!!
E- Can't change much now.

No that would be completely wrong. Royal Blue is indeed one of the Medium blues.

And deep means a shade darker. Like Navy or even Midnight Blue. Royal is not close to purple at all. Not even in the slightest.

Try this color wheel and hold your marker over Royal Blue... Then look for a shade deeper. About what these show as Navy. Somewhere in there.

Its no where near purple... not at all.... but it may be close to what these are looking like in the right light when you figure in the dust part of the color selection and how it looks in pictures and certain light.

Phil is correct my gun it the pic above is a ice blue to a royal blue dust finish fade and it is not near the color purple

royal blue is a purplish blue but it is by no means purple in color... even with that link of a color table the roayl blue you can tell has some purple to it...
