AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Do classic valves differ from x/rt in this regard?

SP had the "Black Box" i think it was called that made them low pressure. Ended up they didn't really do to much and caused lots of problems without solving any.
Your mag will want a minimum input of 650. Unless you have a retro, rt, or x-valve thought don't bother with an ajustable tank as 850 is fine for the mag and anything higher or lower won't make a differance.
i'm sorry, i was in a hurry cause my dad was focing me to go to bed
but retros get the best performance between 750 and 900 psi, while classic valves do best between 600 and 850
and all the black blox did was add a larger air resivoir to the valve, but that didnt do much beacuse the automag already uses a pre-measured and pre-regulated amount of air to fire, so a larger re3sivoir of unregulated air did absolutely nothing
the only thing that it was good at was acting as a weak expansin chamber for co2 users

The Black box was nothing to do with low pressure, unless you believed the advertisments, that was the "reason" given but the use was totally different

Wasn't the use the All Americans cheating by having liquid CO2 dumped into the dump chamber?

That is not true at all on my X-valve. With the ULT, I tend to see a little bit of boltstick below 800. I usually run it at 950, and it makes the trigger really snappy and I have no bolt stick. With the normal on/off assembly, the difference between 800 and 900 psi can lead to upwards of 10 bps more
Actually a mag runs at about 350-400 psi. If you gutted the regulator part of the mag valve, you could use that tank. I think all you have to do is rip out the vlave stem and spring. I'm really not to sure though as i've never really tried it. I'm a firm believer of at least double regging everything.
if you did that how are you going to chrono the gun. the internal reg is adjustable so you can chrono the gun. if you gut it and then replace it with a 400 preset tank, you will have a preset chrono speed. it might 260, 280, 240, 360, who knows. but whatever it is, you wont be able to change it. :) not a good plan.

looks like you have some tuning to do, Also the psi has nothing to do with "bps". It has to do with sweet-spotting

you dont get it. Your single regg'n a mag. Using the tank as an adj. reg for the whole setup. I thought Nicad built a mag like that.
