My New Blue NYX Matrix!

Damn yo, I saw one of these NYX's in silver at Del Hobbies a week ago and this thing could shoot some paint. One of the fastest guns my eyes have ever seen.

I really need to shoot one of the NYX's some day. I was extremely impressed with just a Trix with the standard upgrades (Trinity, Aardy Bolt Kit), this thing better blow me away if I ever get the chance to shoot it.:)

Yeah...I'm pretty much on a first name basis with the people at NYX right now...I think I'm going to become the honorary pod boy after all this is finished...(which means...no..it hasn't finished yet..aaarrrggghhh)...

btw, I don't think I'll wear the jersey next weekend...I'll probably try to get them all to autograph it instead (it's a Pre-Dick Clark NXL jersey...hahahahaa...collector's item now...hahaa)...but I can bring it if you want to check it out..

it's all good...I've still got some kinks that need to be ironed out...it's nobody's fault..things happen and we're working towards smoothing them all out...

What needs to be ironed out? Gun looks nice and I know they shoot well.

Only trouble with getting blue guns is that they are so hard to anno. Different parts made from slightly different metals (or even later pieces from the same extrusion) don't always take the colour the same way.

Well...I try to keep things between myself and manufacturers private (so as to avoid causing a scene for no reason) but you asked so I'll tell...the problem was that I was sent a gun sans barrel and both of the backplugs for the airtubes were missing...nothing earth-shattering...but still annoying....I don't blame NYX in anyway (but they should tech guns before they sell them IMHO)...but it's just one of those **rolls eyes** "oh well" kind of things...I knew the anno wouldn't match...blue is usually the worst culprit of having different (or even same) extrusions not match..

in a few years from now, depending on how into paintball i get, i was planning on either getting a new Bush or a Matrix.

for a while i've thought matrixes are the pimpest of the pimp, but i was wondering: what kind of threads do they have?

nope...cocker threads..but you can purchase different breeches with other threads (Angel, Spyder, etc)...next question?
