That kid just doesn't want to fess up that his gun isn't as good as yours. I know, I had an Xtra and traded up to an automag!!!! His gun will turn into a blender in full auto. I used the gun in semi (also had an electric frame) and still chopped/pinched balls with a Halo TSA.

I put about 300 hundred dollars into the Xtra and realized that it would never be as good as a mag. The Xtra can keep up with the mag's ROF, but it'll be chopping like no one's business. I love my mag and the level 10. I haven't chopped since I got it.

The Xtra and spyders in general are great beginner guns, but lets not compare them to even the lowest mag...

I have an Xtra, I have a 'Mag, I have a 'cocker. I hardly use the 'cocker because everything likes to unscrew itself on it, usually in the middle of a game. I love my 'Mag and use it the most, but it too has let me down on the field.

My Xtra has been nothing but reliable, consistent, and easy to maintain. I've put a Hyperframe on it and it has chopped on only two occasions (during the same game) when the batteries in my Revy were running out. With only minor modifications/upgrades, it's efficient and consistent.

I have a friend over tonight working on my roommate's computer and he asked if my Xtra was a backup. I told him the only reason it's a backup is because if it was my primary, I would never play with any of the other markers I've bought over the years.

I have shot a spyder shutter for a year or so, and the thing worked just fine once I got the bugs worked out of it(broke tons of paint). The thing wouldnt chop that often, and I was pleased with it. That was when using a ricochet hopper was totally cool. Now, I had to get a warp and an egg2. The ROF is where the mag is ELITE. I have an Emag, with warp left. The thing just rips. I have shot angels, timmy's, cockers etc, and have yet to shoot something so smooth. One eblade cocker I shot was pretty smooth(the thing had to be a cheater gun), but i didnt see the reliability out there in it. SO, just dont even compare a spyder to an automag.

I would say nothing actually. If he/she thinks his/her gun is better, fine, let it be. All your going to do is fight with a person who is not going to change his/her mind.

If he/she spent $1500 on his/her gun, so what? It's his/her money and if they did do that, more power to them.
