    ygrip batch

just wondering when the next batch of ygrips is supposed to be in, i want to get one for my birthday on November 10th, would they be in by then?

also for the xvalve do you guys think i should just trade in my old valve? would i ever use it again? or should i keep it for like a back up valve or something?

has your old valve ever gone down where you needed anything other than a parts kit for it? nope..

why bother? save the $100 bucks.

Is your old valve a retro or a classic valve? That would be my deciding factor...

i dunno....i was thinking of keeping my classic valve. That way, when i eventualy get a ULE body, i'll just need a few more parts and i'll be able to build a pretty much stock Minimag with all my spare parts, which i'm bettin i can sell on eBay for at least $160. Or i could keep it for a really good backup

              I say

keep the stock valve, get a stabilizer (sideline or other) and have a backup co2 setup if you cant get a n2 fill. Just imagine if your fields booster goes down. I am in the market for a stab for just this use.

i think i might just go with an i-frame mainly because i want to be a front player and i just think it would feel too different trying to lay down and lean out with a y-grip, anyone play front here with a y-grip?

Having a backup would be a good reason to keep it.. The stabilizer idea is a good idea.. Those things rock.

                      i have a y-grip

i have a ygrip, and im a front player. i found it easier to play front b/c you can keep tighter with the ygrip. you will see how comfortable it is if you get one. i recommend it.

I'm keeping my AIR valves. One is for my pump mag. The other is for that one time I play outlaw or at a field in BFE where only Co2 is available. Personally, the AIR valve (old level 6, matte looking thing) was what originally drew me to AGD way back in the day. I can still remember the first day I saw one. I'd seen a bunch of 68 specials and a couple of cockers when I cam across my first look at a Mag. The owner was cool enough to let me shoot it a little and I fell in love with the short, light (at the time), snappy trigger. That beautifully machined hunk on stainless on the back of the gun was unlike anything I'd seen in paintball up to that point. Sniff.... Sometimes I miss the days of yore.

do you think a fairly small dude with a 68ci 3000psi would need a drop with the y grip? and also does ANYONE know when the next batch will be in?
