    warp opinions???

Have an old school RT and I am considering a warp feed. Did anyone NOT LIKE the warp?? I am also considering the RT upgrade to X-VALVE and ULE....... but cant decide if I should go w/ warp left or CF........

a warp is NOT for everyone. I personally love the fact that i can shoot sideways and upsidedown and have balls come out. I can keep a low profile. I can shoot out the left side without using my horrid left hand. I love it.

However, I have a teammate who wont use my marker (XMag) because it has the warp. he doesnt like the weight. He doesnt like how it sits and balances.

Its not a universal item. I would recommend trying one at a local field (drive an hour if you must) before buying one. They are great items if you like them, but they can be a bear if its not your thing

i like em, the only thing that kinda puts me off is the added weight, but IMO, the advantages outweigh the weight difference...

I concur with Kev. I love not getting hopper hits and not having to shoot left handed! Took me about a month to get used to it, but was well worth it. The only problem now is whenever I have to use a non warped gun I have to relearn hiding the hopper, lol.

All my mags have warps... All of my future markers will have warps... Warps are the bomb. nuff said.

If you cant take the extra weight of a warp, then lift some weights and strengthen those weak little arms... GIRLY MAN!!!

has anyone tried to measure the weight difference with the batteries and then also having it run off of the e-mag battery pack mod?

              Warps kick smelly bootie...

I love my warp, but it's best that you try one out before buying one.

Note: Don't base your choice on any warp setup. The proper warp setup linked to an I-frame or any other frame that can be linked to a warp is the way to go.

Just to be a slightly different voice. I didn't really like my Warp at all. I love the balance of my ULE (verrt feed) EMag. I also had problems getting the Warp to work on the dry paintb styles. My friend who I sold it to loves it. I'm happy with my HALO B.

I love mine! the best thing I have ever bought! Yes, It does add weight but it balaces out your gun nicely, and its not that muck heavy, 1.6 lbs I think, try one out first and I think you will love it!

                    Don't like it.

Don't like the weight, the balance, the overall size and just makes everthing seem to cluttered.I didn't like HAVING to shoot layed over just to go out the left side and shooting one handed on the run is pretty awkward.

Automag, simplicity at it's finest, with out a bunch of stuff hanging off the side.

Just to be clear, I'm not waying that the warp is a bad product. Just that I didn't like it.

These are my thoughts exactly. I had mine for about two weeks and sold it. The weight wasn't a "it's to heavy" issue, it was a "too bulky" and "too much mass on gun" issue. I play front so being able to run and shoot, as well as snap shoot is key for me...so the lighter the gun the faster the reaction time. It's like me being an old west gunfighter and strapping a coffee can on the side of my peacemaker. However, I think for covermen the warp would be great.

I found that I play front more effectively with a warp. no hopper hits. I can come out at strange angles to confuse oponents.....I have even shot people out by shoot under a bunker. (gun up-side-down) no wasted time switching hands. I guess you have to get used to it. but once you do, it rips.
