    Pure Energy 68, 5k or Crossfire 68 4.5k

I can't decide which one to buy

The Pure Energy 68 5k went down in price to 200.

    The Crossfire is 175.

both have free shipping because they are on paintballgear.com and over 100.

Which one would be the better deal and Why.

Get the crossfire :) They have a pretty good rep for being high flowing & reliable, can't say the same for PMI. Also, you're not going to find many places that can fill the 5k all the way.

      Most definitly the crossfire.

      1) They are known to have some of the best preset regs.
      2) Cheaper
      3) PMI's customer service is TERRIBLE
      4) No where really can fill to 5k anyways...
      5) Ive had nothing but problems with my Pure Energy.

Yeah they do, but I mean, its just not worth the extra 500 psi. Plus... uh... P.E. stinks :)

I must say because of this firum I bought a Crossfire 68/4500 brand new. Everyone here on AO said it is the best preset yada yada yada. First of all, it only puts out around 700 psi. If you have an RT then you will have no reactiveness. Secondly when i use it my ReTroMag is very inconsistent. I can barely chrono normally with that tank. The numbers vary by 15-20 fps. I know I may be the minority here, but look elsewhere. Try the Nitroducks and the other higher end products. Hell my ACI is better and I know its not all that good. All the stores around here stopped carryin Crossfire because of all the returns they were getting. The only presets they sell are the PMI and Nitroduck. Seems that many people are NOT carrying the Crossfires. My $.02

i dont know what to say to that.. you had to have gotten dirt or something in it. Every 4500psi red collar crossfire tank i have use was around 830psi. And Also.. you must not know mags well bc you Can to get a nice trigger off of 700psi **shortsping**

get a new aci bulldog III. They are the best preset tanks out there, very light, and you can rebuild them yourself if something goes wrong.
