    Matrix vs. Impulse

I'll be getting $650 soon for my old backup mag. I wanna buy a new backup...Either an Impulse or a Matrix. Don't say "Don't buy the Impulse Smart Parts SUx0rz" cuz I'll ignore your post. Which could be upgraded with what and how much? I know aardvark(sp)does good stuff with the matrix...

    Thanks
    My feedback...

An Impy can be a great gun, it just needs the right upgrades. Out of the box a trixy is your best bet!

Theory or no theory the Matrix, hands down, is a better gun.

          hmm

I'd have to say the Matrix. With a top notch performance center like Ardvark or TMC (The Matrix Center) then you have support.

I think the Matrix is easier to shoot faster and accurate.

I'd personally check out the prices on LCD and IR3 Angels, you want a gun that will be as reliable as your mag and perform like every other electro?

I'd like that, but my main gun is my Emag, So i'm just looking for something relatively quick and not very expensive that I can lend out or use in a pinch for a game or two before I fix my emag.

Agreed, Matrix over the impulse any day. I like the way it feels to shoot a matrix.

I'm a big enough fan of the Matrix to have bought one a few weeks ago. They're terribly easy to shoot fast and I love how quiet they are. I also like the low maintenance and solid feel. I've never been a fan of the impy. The feel to flimsy. I'm sure if you sink enough cash into one they can be made to fly, but the Matrix takes it hands down right out of the box.

i would go with the trix. i have never owned either but i have shot both. the trix seems to be built to last, it feels very sturdy and they are fast as hell.

Check for some good used ones. The LCD is the best stock, but some good LED's can be had for pretty cheap. Shop around.
