AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.

Been there. Not a single mention of spectators...
I was too thinking camping and I can pull the camper down... but I used to stay out at the state park that was right on the road where the old field place was. Now its a good bit further from there. But I am not sure I want to stay right in a Disney camp ground althought there is one close by. Might just stay out at the park and make the drive if nothing else. That park is on the lake and real nice but its like 15 miles away. It was $15 a night for full hook up. The Disney campground is $45 a night.
I think they did charge to get into the X ball thing last year. So someone should find out.

i read somewhere, maybe on warpig, that there is no charge for admission to the games...and there are special rates to get into mouseland if your so inclined or are bringing the family for a vacation durring the tournament. dont recall seeing anything on camping.

Yea there is a special Disney parks discount but you have to call and find out what it is. And they do not bother to list any camping but you can find that through Disney. But I also know that state park from before. I can provide info on that one if anyone needs it and I checked the camping through Disneys site directly. But PSP made no special arrangements for it. Your on your own there.
Would like to know for certain about that spectator thing. They not so fond of free stuff at Disney though.

Dont know where I am staying yet, probably one of the hotels like a mile away or something. Hopefully they wont charge, I only have enough for the stuff I need.
I think I read on the WWS Website that there is a $10 admission fee for spectators to events. I don't know if that includes the Cup though.

I emailed Disney regarding this and was told Cup is being held outside the actual "park" area of the Wide World of Sports around the parking lots and that admission was free to spectators. I don't know anything about camping or RV's or the like.
I do not believe they allow camping on site. I think you have to go to a camp ground. But that does mean off site. And the Disney ones are not cheap. But there are plenty within 10 miles if you want to drive.
I was under the impression it WAS inside the actual park....
You would think PSP could have a little more info up there on thier site. Chris? Can you clear all this up?
I can post up some RV/Camping areas close by with phone numbers tomorrow. Easy enough to do that.

If oyu menat me, that was a longshot considering how much I manage to keep up on AO these days...
Spectator admission is free for paintball. The fields will be surrounding the entrance to wide world of sports, including the area where Sunday's X Ball was last year.
I do not believe there is any camping available on-site, but I'm sure there are plenty of camping options available around Orlando.
You can also feel free to get in on the NCPA hotel rate of $45/night at the Ramada:
Call 1-800-327-1128
Mention group code G/NCPA/1023
How far is "Old Town" from WWS? Will everyone be hanging out at Old Town again this year? I'm trying to find a hotel...and wondering what area I should go for. Chris Raehl...Nick Vest here, from 1Shot...how far is that Ramada from WWS?
Thanks everyone...I got three in my party...anyone wanna join and split costs? Then I could afford a rental car.
