So far mine's been very trouble free. After every day of play I take out the internals (easy to do) and lube up a few parts. It's been really easy to maintain. And much like a mag, most problems seem to be solved with an o-ring.

I have heard of going through several cases of paint before breaking a trix down for maintenance. When I had mine I would usually do break it down after every four cases unless I played in a really bad environment. All you have to do typically is remove the back plate, unscrew the rear plug and push the bolt out the back. Clean off all of the parts and then lube. Proper re-assembly can be a pain until you get used to how all the pieces go but its difficult.

Overall I found the matrix to be a really sweet marker I got to the point where I had nothing else to upgrade so I sold it and bought my EMag. If you want to check out a good site regarding the matrix go to www.aardvarkdirect.com. They have a decent forum and sell upgrades a well.

run oil through every so often and you'll need to take her apart very very rarely.
