How much paint

At practice I use like...1 and a half bags a game, in recball probably 2 full bags a game, I shoot so crazy when I play recball I get excited, lol. But thats not a lot man, I mean..between myself and the team..were looking at 10-15 cases, and thats GOOD, some guys from Philly Eclipse managed to carry 10 pods, and shoot off a hopper on the break, and never close the lid.

I usually play front and do stupid stuff when playing rec (ie. go for stuff that I wouldn't in a tournament). Its good practice for me at least...

Anyways... I shoot 3/4 of a case on an average day. Although when teams are practicing and I jump on the field I play more conservatively and have been known to dump 2 cases in one day. (when I get pissed off and start playing back...)

I'm about 3/4 case for a full day of recball.

What amazes me is people who shoot 2+ cases per day. All my local fields are FPO for around $60/$65 case. I work full time, but spending $120 for paint + field fees and air makes for an expensive recball day. Especially if you play every weekend.

In recball I usually shoot 500-1000 for woods ball or 1000-2000 for speedball. In tounaments I play front with two pods, and usually use about 1000(My back players rule )

I shoot about 500. Pretty soon I'll be playing my first woods ball game and I'll bring about 1000 most likely.

I play back and generally drop 7 pods a game. Recball I usually drop 4. It isn't my fault though it is that darn X-Mag I bought.

that 1/4 case works for me to suit my style of play. so for others and their style of play i can understan more paint but crap some of you shoot alot.

Thats funny... cuase normally when we are picking teams for woods play I get picked with the comment "he shoots a lot of paint." If I get picked for speedball its with the comment "ever seen a front player try to lane off the break... watch"

Between myself and my GF 6 cases a day is normal. We both play back and carry 7 pods each. Haven't played too much rec ball so no sure but prob about the same. Old habits die hard....I shoot alot.

I just built a pump so we'll see what happends with that.

just off my hopper


and usaly my hopper lasts about 3 games.(depends on play)

Im always a front player....Im always the first at the 50 and some times there 40....a full case in 12 hours. Quality not Quanity.

HEHE I know exactly how you feel. I used to only shoot a case a day whne I played. I am up to 4-5 cases a day and the only way I can afford to play is because I work at a field and get nice discounts! It's like a desease, you cannot stop shooting.

1/2 case a day about. Cant do anymore because the lid on my hopper broke and im too cheap to fix it so i just duct tape it on

'course, when they come in 10 round tubes it becomes easier to pick your shots.

Well, let's not confuse "normal" and "necessary", as they are apparently two different things.

Half a case a day is typical for me. Hopperball all day long.


I actually went to the hardware store today and bought some PVC pipe and fittings. I'm curious to see how well I do on an airball field with 20 rounds on the gun and a bunch of stock class tubes.
