Bug in 3.0 Software Please Read

AO ACE users,

We have found a bug in the 3.0 software that appears to be present in 2.4 also. The ACE eye adjustment does not get sensitive enough to detect the ball properly. This is NOT a problem with the ACE board but is an internal configuration in the chip. Somehow the chip setup got flipped in a past version.

This DOES NOT affect performance if you turn off the ACE. It ONLY affects the ablity of the ACE to detect the ball at some distance from the eye. The current effect is that the ACE has a short detection range, if your ACE is working well don't sweat it. We will be coming out with a new version 3.2 hopefully in the next day or so.

My friend has an Xmag and just got 3.0. I like the software and all, but what happened to the feature where if ace sees no ball then it automatically spins the warp until one gets into the breech? Also, I thought the screen would have a light that blinked when the trigger was pulled for setting the HES? I didn't see that either. Last, what setting should shot buffering be on? there is like 1-100.

it is adjustable from 4-100 in increments of 2 I think. Also the versions we got were the ones without the trigger test programmed in yet. Also since the ace cant function at all properly if you actually read the thread you just posted on there is no way you could know if that works that way or not. Of course I am not sure about this "warp" feature anyway
