Hey all, im trying to pick up a hyperframe microswitch right now and i was wondering if it is hard to install. Also, what extra parts (if any) do i need?
Q: Is the hyperframe microswitch hard to install?

shouldn't be hard at all, just need to know how to solder, a friend and I are going to start selling really light ones so all you have to do is plug it in w/o soldering. We have some in stock.

Hey, it's not hard at all, just need some basic tools, here's how:
1) Take the frame off the marker
2) Take the Grip Panels off the frame
3) Look on the frame, you'll see 2 wires coming from the microswitch to the board, with a plug thats on the board.
4) Pull the plug out of the socket on the board
5) Take out the 2 silver screws that hold the switch in place.
6) Pull the wires out of the top of the gripframe and, with a little tugging, the switch will come out too.
7) Voila! It's out! Now reverse the process to install the switch!
To swap the switch, just unsolder the wires from the old switch, and put the the wires on the same tabs on the new switch, then install. Instant lighter (or heavier) tigger pull.

i know that this doesn't technically answer your question, but the pics in this thread should give you a good idea. you will just need to know how to solder, and you will also need the quick disconect so you can plug it into the board. But those can be difficult to come by because they are so small.
other than that, it is just two screws that hold it in
