AO is going to have to have Banners

banners are fine, i dont mind....but please no pop ups, also you should sale the space to other companys that do not compete with AGD. Most people here already know or have what they want from AGD.

I've been toying with allowing a few, select, PB-related banners over on TWB, and I have a few things in my own Store of interest to AutoMaggers and others. TWB sees around 6,000 page views a day on average, and has been steadily, if slowly, building since day one.

Is something like that possible?

now that actually makes sence! a type of banner exchange! along the same line as pop-ups, is SP ever gets and ad on AO I'm gone like yesterdays newspaper.

they do have a banner exchange program. i've never looked at them until now. they're hidden behind the resources->links page. it would be nice if the banner exchange actually got you in a place where you'd get views.

For those who say we all know what everything is no AGD banners, people still do come in here wondering what the heck an on-off valve is, so it may just do some good.

Now THAT is a novel idea. Heck, I added a link on my site as soon as it went up and tried to participate in the link exchange but even after quite a few reminders.. nada. I guess the AO link exchange only goes one way?

the only thing i see w/ that though, is most of the people who visit this site already have agd products, and are already in the loop, making the target population a little off.
