    Sanding down egg 2?

    I just bought a classic timmy, and an egg2, I want to know if I can just sand it down to fit or what I should do and how I should do it. Because i dont wanna mess it up its brand new just tell me what i should do.

    do you mean cut the neck down or sand it so it fits the feedtube?


    either way i have done both and had no bad effects

      i have both cut and sanded my neck down on my egg, and it is fine still to this day. the only bad thing is that if you switch guns, and dont have an adjustable feedneck, then you will most likely have to resort to the old duct tape.

        Yes, you can just sound it down with sandpaper. Just watch it, eggs dont have a lot of meat on the neck (cough, halo, cough) so be careful you dont take so much off that it is not solid.

            i had both a halo and egg and thats not true, the egg has a pretty thick neck.

              Seems pretty thick to me. I just got a new eggy after using an old one and the neck is very thick. I wion't be sanding it because it fits super tight in my ULE neck. I will be cutting it down to sit lower though. Question, are the neck replaceable? If it gets messed up can we order a new neck os it that part of a much larger piece ie. Halo. Thanks.

                just sand it for a few seconds and check the fit then snd it sumore untill it fits snug
