AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I am thinking seriously about either buying an E-cocker or electrifying my '03. I am wondering what setup is better, the E-Blade or the ANS E-frame, which I understand is based on the Race Frame.
Its all personal preference honestly, shoot an Eblade and then shoot a race. They have totally different triggers, and the Eblade is magnetic (which I like personally) because it has a nice return and makes it easy to shoot fast.
They are both about the same price.
I would recommend a 44 Magnum Ram (belsales) and QEVs for both. A delrin bolt would help and a light free flow tugsten hammer as well.
Thanks for the input. Unfortunately I have no way to try either before I buy. Do you remember in the South Park movie, when they sang the song about their "backwoods, dirtwater, white bread town"? Well, when it comes to paintball, that is where I live.
ive seen both on cockers, but i've only shot
the eblade so far. im not even really a fan of cockers.
i like the feel of it. you can adjust it to your liking.
my buddy had his so tight that you could tap the gun
and it'd shoot. but he had trigger bounce problems.
so...
almost all the e-cockers i've seen have eblades on em.

Worr blade is an eblade with a little different milling in the trigger and a dovetail. To me, the eblade seems like a more polished, more production model e trigger frame of the two. Whether one is better than the other, I dont know, but I think it would be a safe bet to buy an eblade when in doubt.
The Worr Blade and the E-blade are the same thing. The only differences are the worr blade has a small gorrve in the trigger, comes with the bolt, and had a farther out trigger guard because people were complaining that they couldn't fit their fingers in the e-blade frame. I personally like the e-blade better.
i guess i must be the only one who likes the race frame better
i have a gen x-e cocker with oracle body and love it far more than any of the eblades i have tried. But that is just me, i also like the ability to hook it up to my computer or pda, just another thing to tinker with

I used to have a Race-Cocker, and I know a guy with one now... I've never fired an eblade though...
I loved my old Race frame though... Great battery life, and it takes standard grips are what it has over the Eblade, but other then that they are both great frames. Some people like the Eblades magnetic trigger, others like the Race's Microswitch (like every other electric gun out there)
TCMK is right though, Race is GREAT for tinker-ers... the software is pretty easy to use, and the options you can do are simply great.
My vote is with the race simply because I owned one before, but like others have said, I have heard NOTHING bad about eblades... In the end both will make you pretty darn happy.
Hey Zero, how much did that Chipley cost ya?
