    Nyx Matrix Or Dark Viking!!??

OK, i tried an NYX Matrix, and the thing ripped, but ive been thinking bout a viking for a long time. I went to the cup and seen one guy using a viking, and everyone else using matrixs and timmys. Im confused now, what would be "better". and dont just name the marker tell me the reason u would pick it. sorry if this sounds noobish, i just dont wanna but a matrix to come to find that the viking is the new hot thing
    bring it!

well i would go with a viking

just because they are quality guns and have great customer service. also they probably have more resale than a matix, so if you did find that a Viking isnt your thing you can always sell it and get a matrix.

Go with a TON TON impulsel. Does anyone own one of those here. I want one so bad. Anyone agree with me. otherwise get a NYX matrix, those would have a good resale value

No offense dude, but a Viking and a NYX Trix blow any Imp out of the water. Between the two though, you're going to have to try them both out. About two hours ago, I just ordered a red unmilled Viking, and I'm just dying in anticipation for it to come. Other people obviously prefer the Trix, I think they're both some of the best guns in paintball right now.

Well the resale value of a viking is awesome. IMO it has the best resale value on the market right now. You buy them new for like 750. I see them being sold for like 800ish.

But I think the trix would be a better gun. Even though AKA has good service and good resale.

Not to be condescending, but if you have to ask, you should probably go with the Viking. Tuning is minimal and two drops of oil in the macroline after a day of play is all it takes to keep it going.

The NYX needs a lot more tweaking in order to get every last drop of performance out of it. The LPR needs to be tuned properly, the bolt needs lube on a regular basis (I lube mine before every day of play just to be safe), the dwell, debounce, eye sensitivity... get the picture?

But, if you set all these things properly and to your liking, the NYX is easily the best performing marker available. I have had mine for almost 6 months and I am still changing settings every time I go out. I like tunability, I like options, so I am comfortable with the NYX, but I've read many many times about people who have shot NYX's and Vikings and didn't like the NYX, and I will venture to say it's because it wasn't tuned properly.

The Viking is a good marker that offers a good value, but at its peak it will not out-perform an NYX Matrix.
