    Just how short...

Just how short can you get an E-Mag trigger pull? Just curious because my friend just got a 2k1 LCD Angel which is very nice. Anyway, his trigger pull is insanely short, very easily walkable. I just wanted to know if an E-Mag trigger is adjustable in that form.

I'm mainly curious since I will be getting one very soon.

    Yes. it is very tunable.

#1- the magnet in the grip frame will control the tension- how much you have to pull the trigger before it comes loose.

#2- the set screw in the selector switch- determines back travel of the trigger.

#3- magnet in the trigger- where in the stroke the gun will fire.

Clare has a trigger so short/bouncable that you can blow on it with a straw and it will shoot.

The weight of the pull is VERY adjustable from heavy to tilt the gun and fire, the length is also adjustable but has a limit to how short it can be and give a reliable reading to the HES.Many micro switch guns can be made to be shorter and still reliable.I personally prefer a little length(1-2mm) and a little return resistance for walking.

How would one set the trigger to be like that? One magnet, set screw out, and far back on the sensor magnet?

You only need to shim the upper magnet out far enough, the ultimate being removing the upper magnet entirely and the trigger will just hang there.Tilt the gun up and it'll fire.'Course that would be useless but it shows how "light" you could get.
