Remember that acryllic cocker? You could make some pretty nifty stuff with that thing. Paintball guns dont have to be entirely metal anyway, people are just brainwashed into thinking that its better that way.

Is just a dream as a Mill
the power isnt strong enough to cut but it can engrave
      Just really neat

It would be kick butt to make things with
give it more power and you could do perfect cut for drop forwards and stuff

I don't believe this is an RP machine of the kind that uses lasers to 'build' plastic components from resins or powder, and thus I don't believe you could make hopper type parts with it.

I believe it is a laser engraver and cutting machine, I know someone who sells similar machines. You can use it to 'engrave' 3d shapes and depths into soft materials (like pastics and rubber) but with thicker and harder materials you can only cut out 2d profiles. The guy I know can cut up to about 5mm plastic with his laser, after that you are pushing it. The depth of engraving will also be limited by the focal length of the laser machine.

I doubt a laser of this size could cut drops. I work with large 5 axis laser cutters in the automotive industry and to cut through metal over a couple of mill takes a large amount of energy. I'm yet to see a desk top laser that can do this.

Still... this would be perfect for my needs.
