I would like to know what the real difference is between the HALO A and B. I know the A is gear driven, and the B is belt driven, but what caused them to even make a B? Is the A slower? Have more problems?

the HALO as is what the Evo II and Evo II w/ y-board is, it wasnt force-feed, but more of a hopper that oraganized tha balls and fed them instead of just adgitating them
the HALO B actually puts pressure on the balls with a spring-tensioned feed cone, and it has new software to reduce (and eliminate) ball breakage - the TE and Z-Code upgrade board/software
the new software also increases battery life, and it feeds ALOT faster - up to 50 or so BPS in short bursts, and 22 continiously

My HALO A feeds my speed just fine and does not break paint, the only thing is the stupid thing turns off after 30minutes of no action. I think I might just get the new board for that reason otherwise I like it just fine.President and Founder University of Dubuque Paintball Club

its not a new board, its a total inside parts renovation. imo you should really just spend the money and get your halo upgraded. a halo b is so much better than a halo a it will make your speed scream lol
. if your not chopping, either the sensi it working great, or your fingers are just slow i shot an evo 2 on my trix today and it sucked arse, i outshot it soo much

heres how to tell. u know what teh drive cone is? can you spin the drive cone clockwise, without hearing any noise from spinning the motor? (can you spin it clockwise for about 1 full rotation with ease and almost no hard pushing, just gentle spin?)Comment

the HALO A wasn't force feed? 50bps? Do you get your info from the tabloids? The problem with tha HALO A was it force fed too hard. and 50 bps is nothing more than a fanciful theory, there's ways of measuring that burst of 5 balls, and I don't know of any gun shooting 30+ bps, though many can cycle that fast....but there's an "I" in SNIPER.Comment

lol, bro ur all wrong. what do u read the tabloids? 
the halo a was NOT force fed, it worked exactly like the eggo 1 and 2 except in a better body and more weight. after all, thats why odyssey had the court shiz with BE, hence, they created teh halo b, an actualy "force fed" loader
