how do u know if a tank is preset or adjustable on a web site they presety i know that means its set at like a 800 output but they say fixed does that mean they r adjustable?

more then likely it is. fixed is the same thing as preset, its fixed at a set output pressure

Usually preset tanks also come with the top of them color coded. I think red is 800, not really sure of the colors, but they are!

presets are screw ins (except the nitro duck mega reg)

I think crossfire has their presets color coded.
Most tanks have a preset of between 800-900.
find out what your gun needs and then see if you need a reg to turn it down.
