    Names for Bunkers

Ok...as usual AO's dumbest member is going to start another dumb thread.

At a field a lot of people have made some code names for bunkers (stand up, three, steamroller, dorito, etc)

I just know a few of them so if you guys can show a pic of the bunker and tell us your code name for it that might be useful (since some of us here don't know everything *cough* me *cough*)

    ex. ()_) <- steam roller
    ex. /\ <- dorito
    ex. /\/\/\ <- snake

    real pics preferred

Honestly people come up with any name they want for a bunker. Usually an object you would associate it with. Like what you would say is a steam roller, I for one have never heard it called that... Or if you take that cylinder and put it right side up we call them beer cans, doritos are pretty much the same. There are cones, mini rocket shaped ones we call nipples... Just make up some creative stuff

          there are also

like what we call Taco's some people call em half moons but taco is easier umm its like a capital D on its side, with the flat part on the ground. also what LAW said is true and i also never heard the name steam roller before.

There are also Beams and bricks:

          Beam
[~~~~~~~~~] think of the top things as a striaght line. it lays on its side like that too

          Brick

[~~] basically a mini beam that is about twice as tall.

          also a temple
          ____/~\
/ \ just a little be taller and not quite as angled or wide the thing on the top is also straight and connects the top

                no

a taco is a D on its side, looks just like a hard shell taco on its side.

and i don't know what a crackpot is.

Names have to be one or two syllable. For the short ones we say taco's, or doghouse, or homeplate. For tall cans, they are cans, for shorties, they are kegs. There are snakes, ladders, and Doritos. We also use Pikachu for those funky looking dorito's. I think thats about it. We usually use football terminology for where things are, like 40 is the 40 yard line, and 50 is the middle.

but you know what i hate?

is when someone on your team says "someone moved to the square!"

what WHAT THE FUDGEPACKER??! where was he originally? which direction? which square?

which creates new names... the 50triangle, the middle stick
                      obviously not sup air terms

We as in english call Dorito's, Teabags. As PG Tips make pyramid shaped teabags...simple really but confuses the hell out of american/canadian judges if I call for a check on the Teabag
