Anyone know where I can find a good price on an RT Pro, or would it be a better idea to buy a minimag for around 270 and get the x-valve.

It depends on how far you want to upgrade the marker. For example, I nabbed a stock RT Pro off eBay for $270 but then I spent a crap load on it putting in an X-valve/inteliframe/ULE Body/TiBoomstick and such. If you just want to get an RT Pro and are not concerened about the weight issues and all the new tastey upgrades for it, then I say get the RT Pro.
However, if you are planning on going all out, then it's much cheaper to get a classic Mag for like $80-100 and upgrade everything. -
