I need answers from people who know alot about impulses.

I am thinking about buying a python imp. buy I got 2 questions about it. 1 it says it dosen't need a tape worm cause it uses an internal check valve.(like the adrenline impys) My question is if the check valve is so much better why don't all impys use them. and for that matter if it doesn't use the tape worm what is the porpuse of the lpr attaching to the asa. question 2: I want an I frame on my python, but the python comes with a magnet frame. the question is can I swap frames or do I need to get a micro switch and all that stuff before I can swap them out. And I i do need extra hardware to swap frames what all do I need? thanks for the help.

THe impulses with the lpr on the asa are for imps without the VFF mod.The VFF gives the noid a dedicated air source wich is pretty much what the LPR does. Also you should have no problems with the I frame, the pythons have a mag trigger but it still has a microswitch. the magnets are just for the trigger return.

i thought the bouncing was from the settings on the board? i dont think they would make a frame that would be illegel, cuz then who would buy it ?

        i could be wrong.

Ok I think I get the idea but what is the noid. You say they both do pretty much the same thing. but what are the pros and cons of the 2. also which is the better way to go(in your opinion)?

if you got a python you wouldnt be able to install a vff, only older imps and 03 rats can have them on them, also stick with whatever solenoid optimizer comes with it. I personally own a sp lpr and I can't stand it. I wouldn't do anything but break in the barrel(tried 4 different paints and 2 barrels), and I switched to no lpr and it shot great no chops and breaks, I'll probably throw a tapeworm in it.

I run an orracle lpr of my asa and my imp runs at like 65-70 psi and still shoots 285-290 fps so my bolt bounces off the most brittle paint. With a halo, the rite internals and a properly set up lpr any imp can be awesome.

Bascially all the solenoid optomizers out there are the same, they all do their job fine. The check valve takes place of the tapeworm, as an LPR would take the place of a check valve and tapewom. The check, tape, and lpr all occupy the same port which is why you can only have one.

Some people put LPRs on the asa (as I did with my imp) because they are too lazy to tap the front cap or buy a new one for ~$40. The ASA placement is suposedly better though because it won't have the air sucked away when the valve opens, which some people have problems with the lpr on the cap.

The solenoid (noid) controls the amount of air going to the ram which moves the bolt and hammer. LPRs and solenoid optimizers (tapeworms, check valves, etc) are upstream from the solenoid. LPRs control the preassure to the noid to make it lower than the valve preassure. (solenoid optimizers dont change preassure). LPRs can really help you to stop chopping paint, reduce kick alot, and greatly improve efficency.

i have an Iframe and it has no bounce at all and the trigger is set to the shortest it can possibly be. Defiantly get an Iframe.
