Paintball...

I say toast to paintballas. We play the most unique sport out there. My friends make fun of me ad my team for playing paintball. I say screw them. We take paintball seriously. It isn't just a game, its a sport. We play with passion. It is fun, it is REALLY intense, it is just different. We make paintball. We make friends through paintball. Have you ever noticed, that maybe the guys on the football of basketball team at your school(IF you go to school) are the biggest jerks you have ever met? Paintballers respect each other and everyone else. We are not like others, we are paintballers.

meh i told some kid i shot a tricked mag you know xvalve iframe ule trigger and he laughed cuase he said it was slow.... hmmm i guess when i said i got a soundbit of 11bps on a mech gun out shooting my revy and the chuff chuff he kinda shut up

yah.. my friends said my mag was stupid (they all have cockers), but, after letting them shoot it and mess around, guess what they are getting?

Well cheers to the thread, I definitely don't care what others who don't play think, I love this game.

But paintballers do not respect other players more than people in other sports do. I'd say it's about the same. And respecting people outside the sport? I'd say that's about the same as a hockey or football player, paintballers have their moments and professional sports athletes do things for charities, etc. I don't see many pro ballers doing that.

accutly where im from there is a place that holds a tourny for chartiy like 4 times a year. the prizes arent great like jerseys or something for first place and the paint is not expensive and it is a very good time there. all proceeds go to charity

Where I play we are all friends and no one is left out. When people who play other sports start making sheet about paintball not being a sport, I just say it is and move on.

I'll drink to all that. Paintballers, on the whole, are usually good and friendly people, always willing and wanting to get new blood into the sport.

However, I have to say that as an athlete in another sport (swimming), we atheletes no matter the sport, do the SAME thing, whether it be paintball, basketball, football, tennis, golf, whatever. Whatever the sport, the good majority of the serious players are good and friendly people who always like to see growth in their sport.

So, I wish to amend that toast. Here's to ALL you atheltes, whether you be paintballers or whatever! Raise your glasses to all those who play!

Now, lets drink up then go play some paintball .
