November 9th was the final CPSA event of the 2003 season. Double points are awarded for the final CPSA event each year. We went into the event sitting in 3rd place with only a few points between us and 2nd place. We won our division in the preliminary round to advance to the semi finals. The 2nd place team in the series, 665 Almost Evil, won the wild card to advance to the semi finals, however Dye Hard, the team that was in first place entering the event, did not make the semi finals. In the semi finals we won all three of our games to advance to the final round. In the finals we won one game and lost two to finish 4th in the event. When all the games were finished the final scores for the 8 event series were added up and we finished on top. Damage Inc. is the 2003 CPSA Novice Division Champions. I would like to thank all of my team mates on all three of my teams for a great season. I would also like the thank our sponsor Fox Paintball for their support in our first season as part of the Fox Paintball family. Thanks also to all of those on AO that have supported us. I will post pictures from the event once the attachment problem is fixed on AO. Till then you can see pics from the event on my team website www.teamdamageinc.com

jon, again great job on your overall finish. it just proves that nothing is a sure bet. dye hard almost had it locked up. and for those who dont know damage had 3 squads enter and 2 made it to the semis. next year lets see all three squads make the finals. this final event forest pulled judges from all over; it had to have been hard and even a team from michigan came to help. riptide, even though you should have played ; you were a great help . the finals were the closest playing games i have seen for a while. the scores ( from what i remember ) were only 10 points apart up until the last game. congats to all the teams that cameComment
