new VL 'Ngine

Hmmmmmm.

I'll have to wait a while before I comment. I want to see its real speed, maximum capacity, battery life, weight, balance, all that. Nobody's really able to comment except on looks.


But as we all know when the Revvy first came out it was "ugly as sin." Now it's everywhere. When Halo first came out it was "ugly as sin" and now that's everywhere.


People only consider what's ugly based on what they're pumped full of seeing every day. Once something's different it's instantly "ugly."

I didn't think the new shocker was ugly, or the DM4...

but for the most part you are right, but it's still as ugly as a butt.

Personally I think the 'Ngine is really cool. If it weren't for the fact that I have an eggy (which isnt working anyway right now, but $30 is cheaper than the $90+ this hopper is pretty much guaranteed to cost) I'd pick one of these up.

That peice of ulgy looks like it will stick up pretty high of your gun. I even think it would stick up over the top of your gun when mounted on a warp. I will pass and keep my warp and halo b

I think this would best work with a warp myself personally... IDK though...

I assume the pod is a twist lock type thing load in...quick reloading specially with warp...

and it wont be as visable when tucked into ones arm...insted of ontop of ones marker..LOL


anyway...I dont know....I wouldnt mind proto testing it though...

I was thinking about the N'gine last night before I crashed out and realized that there would probably we absouletely no way of reloading until you have completely used the pod. I personally like to reload before my hopper gets empty in case someone makes a mad dash to bunker me so that I still have some ammo to defend myself with.

With this system it seems like if you took the pod out while there were still balls in it, they would just run about in the bottom of the loader where the pods lock in and prevent you from loading another pod until you got all of the balls out of there.

It's hard to make this assumption based soley off of the picture above.
