lol it's not tournament ready. he didnt even think about n2 or getting a drop or asa or getting any gas hoses or fittings. what he did remember was a loader...he got a halo tsa(which i think is decent but i'd rather get a better loader for an angel)

add to that he doesnt have goggles, harness, or anything. (well...he did buy scratched up field goggles for $2.50)

yeah same thing just happened with my friend.. hes never played in his life (is just getting into it) and just got himself a mag with intelliframe, nitrogen tank, all american barrel, etc.. all with parents money. Its horrible. His parents are buying him everything thing.. paint, masks, even down to elbows..

Oh well I guess.

My best friend bought two Dark Angels and 68/4500s before even playing a single game.

He's a sharp dude, and we both decided that he'd eventually get really good at it like everything else... so might as well get the good stuff. And, that's precisely what happened... he picked up the game like a natural. He's been using the same gear for several years now.

I personally bought a PF Mag before ever playing. 68/3000 a month later. I knew full well I'd get good at it, so might as well get the good stuff.
