AO, small matrix upgrade predicament

Whoah, my opinions on this (which are right)

1. LPR- Get a SCM, for $30 more the performance is worth it. The difference between my PBC and SCM on my trix are well worth it.

2. Loader- Get a HALO B, its worth the price, completely. You need on on a trix, unless you set your LPR perfectly which takes a while your going to chop. Even more so if you get a Gun20 and up your speed. Its not a matter of a drop test speed, but if the loader is fast enough to get the ball in, in the 35ms the bolt is open. EggII cant cut it, and the Xboarded Egg is the most battery inefficent loader on gods earth.

3. Bolt kit, hey if the Red disapears get an Image kit. Same stuff.

I read both,

The SCM and HALO are worth it over a PBC and Egg. Why buy an inferior product which you are going to regret having done so the entire time you own the product? Maybe you'll stumble across some more money later, and decide to upgrade AGAIN. Think about the money your wasting in the process, trust me your not going to get anywhere near what you payed for your Egg and PBC down the line.

Also with a Gun 20, it isn't like theres a seperate way to adjust ROF. The lowest you can go is 12.5bps with a FP of 35ms. Having the FP that high completely ruins the concept of getting a Red/Image bolt to improve efficeneny, completely. The most efficent setting on most Trixes w. Red/Image is 14/35, thats about 22bps.

Why buy an inferior product?- Used egg = 35 used halo = 100, thats almost triple the cost for what, 4bps more? In my opinion (and MANY others), the egg stands up there with the halo (not quite as fast, but just as un necesarry for a rec baller). Thats odd, I've owned 2 eggs and haven't had any feelings of regret whatsoever when I saw a halo user buying 6AA batteries at the pball store. I'm not looking for top of the line stuff (wouldn't mention red bolt kit if i was). Also, Money I'm wasting?!? Are you inferring that its not even worth it to buy these products, that they are crap? You should just leave because I'm sure you know by now that your 'experienced' opinions mean nothing at all to me.

"Stumbling across money" is not common for a 15 year old around here.... When I get a job/start tourny balling seriously I'll think about buying top of the line products.

I'll have you know the owner of the local store and everyone on his team shoots NYX's with PBC's in them.. I should go let them know they are wasting their money eh?


I'll come back and let you know if the 120 I saved buying the egg and PBC was worth it.

Lets not turn this into a Shartley vs Meph lol

Its more than a 4bps difference, I owned an EggII as a backup for my Nasty. On Vision off, the Imp was capped at 13.7bps. With a Yboarded Egg and fresh bats I was able to chop, obvioulsy not a consistent 19bps. HALOs really are a consistent 22bps and that + really happens, for bursts they've been clocked at 50+.

The battery issue is pretty non-existent though. A HALO B gets 20,000 rnds off those 6AA. Eggs dont normally last anywhere near that long, even more so with the Xboard which was held back because of battery consumption issuses. They bascically just sent more juice to the motor to make it load faster. 6AAs and 29vs also are pretty close cost wise.

The actual inital buying price is an issuse then if you want to get an Egg.
