Which pack do you use ? Redz, Extreme Rage, DYE ?

I am looking to get a pack soon and I can't really decide between the Redz, Extreme Rage or Dye packs. I like the Redz that have the 3 pouches + 2 extra elastic straps to put in another 2 tubes if needed. What do you all recommend ?

      I use a Redz 5+4 for backplaying and my brother uses a 4v 1h.

3/4 of a case of paint never felt sooooooooooooooo comfy!

With a lot of these packs that are out now, half of the the tube is showing. If I were to get hit in that exposed tube, that's probably gonna break my paint right ? I play a lot of rec ball in the woods so it's not too hard to have someone sneak up behind you. I don't want to get hit and lose all the paint that's in the tubes.

Also, will the Redz packs hold the 150rd tubes ?

I found the Redz packs unimpressive. I use the BlackStar 4-down, which has elastics for 3 more tubes. www.blackstarusa.com

i use the indian springs x-gear pack. most comfortable thing i have ever worn. and even after several months of heavy abuse i doubt if there is even a string loose. very heavy duty.

Currently, I'm using some PoS that I really loathe, but I'm waiting for enough cash (yes, after my 'gun, Freak system, etc...) to get a Redz pack. I wore my friends 6 pack for the longest, without the shoulder straps it never sagged, moved, etc. EXTREMLY comfortable.

I use the JT slampack, i'm a front player so I appreciate its low profile and back support. It can hold up to 4 150 round tubes in a secure horizontal stack lineup ( I only use the two middle slots, because I'm light on paint.)I might add that the tubes are fully proctected by a soft neoprene cover, so it's not likely paint will break if you get hit on the harness.

                I hope I helped a little.

Well, i have an Extreme Rage 4v pack. I really love this harness. There are no buckles etc. for paint to break off of, just a huge velcro srtip on the front. It has a nice small profile which is good since I play up front when we play speedball. efdff, as for paint breaking off tubes that are exposed, i've been shot in the tubes before and i've never had any of the paint inside the tubes break, i think the plastic acts somewhat as a shock absorber. Extreme Rage has some stuff out now where u can really customize how your harness is set up, like 3 +2 , 5+4 etc. In teh end it's totoally up to you, i'd say check out each products web-site, see what ya like and see if u can try eachone out first.

I use a BE 4+1 nice, light, comfortable, and fits me even though im a pretty big guy. They are pretty cheap too only like $15. Beats a $50 harness.
