Please keep my family in your prayers

On the way home from the paintball field to-night a drunk in front of us made a a van/truck swerve and hit my dad's truck. There were six people in the truck my brother and myself(We had just been picked up from the PB field) and my other two younger brothers (7 and 9), dad, and my little sister(3). I didn't get hurt that much just a sore back and neck, praise God my little sister didn't have a scratch on her. My 9 year old brother hit his head and half of his face is swollen pretty bad. My dad just has some pain in his ribs on one side and his knee is sore. But both my 7 year old brother and the one that was PBing with me got pretty deep gashes in their forehands. I still don't know all the details but I think the truck was totaled and it's in some wrecked car lot with all my pb gear in the back of it. But thankfully the drunk who was not affected by the crash was caught because we got his license # before the crash. In fact my dad was on the phone with the police when we got hit. I'm so grateful to God that we are not hurt too bad. My brothers my have some scars and bruises for a while but at least we are still alive.

Man the world needs less drunk drivers. Its such a stupid thing to do. Thank God you had the foresight to get his license plate # and thank god that you are all OK. A kid from my highschool died from a drunk driving incident a few years ago......its a foolish thing to do drinking and driving.

                        Thank God!

Keep the faith. My daughter just recently came home from the hospital after 3 months (born pre-mature). It is a tough road but hang on and God will bring you through it.

P.S. My Dept has a O tolerance for DUI. If your drunk you go to jail and this is why.

                        My prayers are with you

You (your Dad) did the right thing by calling the police while following him but don't ever get involved by personally trying to stop them, not that you would. The amount of things that could happen is not worth the risk. Just make the call and try to stay out of harms way.

Thanks for all you guys concern
I think a good night sleep helped everyone a lot. Everything is just a little sore. About the wreck we notice this guy swerving back and forth a lot so my dad called the police and told him where he was so that they could be waiting for him up ahead. The guy was all over the place even going all the way in the other lane(two lane road). He did manage to stop at a red light behind a 16-wheeler that's when we got his #. then my dad backed off to just wait for the police. He was still on the phone though. Then as we came over a hill the guy pulled into the other lane, there was a truck or van (I never really noticed)coming head on towards him. He didn't pull back over to his lane but just kept on going. The truck/van swerved off there side of the road to keep from hitting him then they jerked back into the road heading strait for us. Instead of having a head on hit my dad ran off the side of the road into the ditch and the truck/van slammed into the back of us.
Luckily there was a police car about six cars behind us that was trying to get up to where we were to pull this guy over. So the response time was quick and the paramedics where there shortly after the crash. Later at the hospital a police officer was getting some info from my dad. The guy had been caught as he came out a grocery store. He was twice over the legal limit, driving on a suspended license, and a couple other things. The police officer said that he knew that the local judge would give him at least 1 year for every offence.
Hopefully we're going to go look at the truck today and get are stuff out of it. Thanks for the kind replies.
