I don't get it, is that a boomie front and back that takes inserts? Or just a regular boomie laying on a freak kit?

      This kit is comprised of:
      - WWA boomer style freak back
      - WWA boomer style freak tip 10"
      - WWA boomer style freak tip 14"
      - SP freak inserts.

So the only thing that is SP is the case/inserts. Other than that, its completely custom.

So when you say boomer "style" they're not actually DYE parts?

No. They are made by White Wolf Airsmithing for those who prefer the looks of an Ultralight and like the variable bore size of a freak.

How long did you have to wait for that, by the way, and how much would something like that cost?

Yes, that is correct, no DYE parts, all pieces were newly machined, not converted from a boomer front. For more info on this type of barrel (parts) go to http://www.whitewolfairsmithing.com/barrels.htm
He does not sell this as a kit (I dont believe). You need to buy the fronts/backs and add them to your existing kit. I paid $185.00 for this kit used, and it was worth every cent.

From my understanding, he is not going to make these anymore due to some issues with Dye (I could be wrong).
                SO GIVE IT BACK!!!!!!! LOL...J/K

Yes, the wait for WWA products can be extreme (he had my Merlin body for almost 1.5 years, it was going to be the one and only Merlin Ripper), but the quality of product sure makes up for it. Now if I could find a set of SS inserts...

stay with the aluminum, doesn't make sense to purchase SS inserts, they will increase the weight of your barrel. That is since you are going with the ULE feel.

True true. See, im just a gun whore, and always want something better (read not new, but old and funky, i.e. Sovereign). I am going to stick with the Al inserts.
