Michigan Tech Huskies Take 3rd at NCPA Minneapolis Open

On Saturday (11/15), the Michigan Tech Huskies took 3rd place at the NCPA Minneapolis Open held at FSL Paintball (http://www.fslpaintball.com/). The team comprised of

    Dan Holms (Skirts)
    Aly Klugow (Flip-Queen)
    Andy Hills (ah137)
Jessie *Forgot your last name bud*
    and myself

I had a blast and it was great to get out and play again. The MTU team is definately a force to be reckoned with. Even though they invited me to come up and play with them, I'm not really sure that I helped out all that much. They definately did all the work. Great job to everyone!

Congrats to the 1st place team, Illinois State University, and the 2nd place team, St. Mary's.

I want to give a quick thanks to Chris Raehl and the NCPA for putting on an extremely well run event (That was definately the shortest event I've ever played in) and also to the entire MTU paintball team for allowing me to play with them.

It was definitely a great event...and a great chance for me to step up the level of competition I've been playing against.

...and Scooter is being modest. He ran to the 50 all 9 games and got first pull 8 out of the 9 times I think, risking getting his jewels shot off from the less-than-strategically placed, waist-high, open tunnel through the middle of the center 50 bunker.

Oh yeah, and congrats Illinois State and especially St. Mary's. It was fun playing against you guys.

Yeah I had a great time, oh the food! I guess you had to be there to know what I mean.

The feild was interesting, the middle double X was just plain dangerous.

Always a pleasure to play with pride.
