Forget about the AKA valve - too much trouble springing and tweaking. The stock valve is susposed to be fine and Terry Garrett (Owner of G#PB who is a HUGE AKA parts dealer) says they're a waste of time also. Every cocker he builds has the RAT valve in it, which is a copy of the stock.
I got sick of screwing with my tornado and bought the rat. I'm more then happy.

Rats are definitely not a copy of the stock valve. Rats are terrible, and are more akin to operating like a Tornado.
Stock CCM internals should get you upwards of 1700 per 68/45 fill.

I have a Raced CCM J2 that I absolutely LOVE! Its very light and very fast with the newly installed QEV's. Impressive guns overall, top notch internal components and some pretty decent stock front pneumatics.
Thats a pic of mah baby with an E-Blade on her (I took that piece of garbage off and put on a Race and added some QEV's to the ram). She does an easy 18 bps now w/ no chops.
Overall I am VERY pleased with my J2, I think the only thing that could replace it would be a new FF Rhythm Race.

wow.. thanks guys. I will make it electro sometime, just not very soon. Might race it.. hevnt ever tried a race, and e-blade was cool. Are The CCM vert regs any good? And does CCM make a 15 degree ASA for it?

No 15* from Works, but you should be able to use a WGP or KAPP. Works is nice enough to make their ASA screws a normal allan wrench... and not that crappy 12 point 1/4" ratchet job that everyone esle uses.
Works inline regs are great. No need to upgrade.
Oh, and you might as well get an Eblade because the J2 comes tapped for the eyes.

I like the looks of the Series 5 more than the J2. I have sold several of the S5's and not a complaint yet from them. I am not a huge fan of the 2 stock regs on it but they seem to work.
Over all I would say its a budget Works cocker, and I hold those guns in very high reguard.

I have one of their clamping feednecks on my Viking, and I love it. Much better than that screw-type clamping feedneck on my Eblade.
Covad, was that you who got the body from Freeflow after talking to me? I forgot...
