    Major Ho,

Sorry to hear about your woes - I've had a good experience with the HALO guys. My A had so much trouble double feeding balls I just stopped using it. Then at IAO they upgraded it to a B for free (maybe it helped that I was working in the AGD booth) and it has worked flawlessly since.

Everyone else I've talked to has also had good service through them so I'm quite surprised to hear some of the experiences stated in this thread.

Maybe things are starting to go down hill. I just can't do the "egg" because I can't stand how it looks with the feedneck at the front rather then centered.

Anyhow, thanks for the post - I was considering looking into the Sniper1a batteries, but it looks like they are the source of your woes. I can't really blame Oddessy for wanting to charge for the fried board either.

Anyhow, thanks for the post - hope it works out.

So did you ever use that Emag frame I sold you?

Boy this dont help me making my disision on which loader to get..lol. Ive been looking at both the Evo and the halo trying to decide. Halo seems to be breaking down alot and evo seem to just fall apart alot. Grrrrr I hate making disisions my game relies on.

Just for a little balance here:
I got a HALO when they first came out and the only prob I had was the lid craking. It was resolved and when I asked for a new lid, the guys sent me TWO so I would never be caught without...at no charge!
I have upgraded my original A to the B, and then a smoke shell, and now, recently the Z code. I have NEVER had a problem with my HALO other than the lid. Never burned a board, never broke paint, and fo sho not too slow!
This sounds like one of those rare but unfortunate occurances that happen with a large volume product like the HALO.
Ho, good luck with it and if anyone can sort this out, Rob can.

The gun is 1/8" of a game that is a FOOT long!
        (...but a 'mag helps)

I'm getting an Egg after reading this for sure. Cyberious got his HALO back from the factory with a huge gash in the side. Looked like someone cut it.

Calvin: Sniper stopped making batteries not due to problems but I think lack of public interest and personal time. I think...
He also recalled the 10 volt version that I originally had and I do believe I have a 9v version in my possession now. He happily replaced it and Im pretty sure was a fluke that it happened in the first place.

My sniper1fa battery for my Halo B has worked flawlessly. I went with the 9.6V version.
