    Matrix Muck

What's the deal with matrix muck? Is it better than and of Dow's offerings or conventional lithium grease? Can it be used on mags/cockers/imps/bushies? I ask because I've been offered quite a bit of stuff at a significant discount.

I do believe its a mixture of Dow 33 and some kind of blue lubricant, i cant remember the name but i know pmi has a similar blue oil. A lot of the time dow 33 is a pinkish colour, add some of the oil and it turns a purplish colour. Dow 33 can be a little too viscous (ie. thick) so the oil makes it softer and less viscous. Which in turn provides less stick to internals of a pb marker when cycling.

Greg told me that his "muck" was a blend of two or three lubes. Dow 33 could easily be one of them. the others i dont recall..
