is it safe to use the Pro team filter pre tank inlet?

I have one of those old PTP in line filters, and i would like to set it up so it filters before the air goes into my tank. However, it is made from aluminum so i am not sure if it could handle the air pressure.

    anyone know?

I dont see the problem. I could be wrong but conquests use an Al fill nipple that has this cool little filter in it.

if it's anything like the AKA system, it's meant to go on the input of the tank.
