Paintballn in the rain your thoughts on it?

Ive only gone once or twice it wasnt that bad. I made sure that my paint didnt get wet. oh also the ground was a nice and slick easy for sliding but not for stoping. I smacked my head in to a metel poll that day. oh well.

Hmm well, it is ok. Barrel gets wet, paint goes everywhere. I use electro guns so i have to put a plastic bag over my gun. But it is fun I guess.

Just wrap something around your barrel porting so you don't get water in the barrel, and don't point your barrel up. Masks fog a lot easier too, and the ground is really slippery.

Really, playing in the rain isn't very fun at all.

I used an E-Mag in the rain once in Florida. Thta was a good game, I pretty much waxed the entire other team myself.

I just put electrical tape over my barrel's porting. I'ver used my Emag in the rain abot 4 times with no problems. Rain, snow, I play in all weather, I only get to play about once a month, so I can't afford to be picky about weather, or I don't get to play for a while.

Look at it this way: Go paintballing in the rain or sit on your couch watching TV.

Playing in the rain is fine with me. I wear long johns with garbage bags ducttaped around them. Then a sweatshirt or my pants, and then my jersey. It keeps me warm and dry.

Its fun because only the really hardcore ballers come out then.

Sliding in the mud can be fun! I took a nice dive in a mud pool during the NJ NPPL and cleaning my stuff afterwards was like a party! Well, not exactly.

I was in a big game with 200 other people one year and it was pouring outside. Not only that, but it was also very cold. The first two games were pretty cool until I was forced to make a move that required me to go up to my waist in the river trying to make a back move. Then I was cold the rest of the day and, needless to say, it didn't take long before we all packed up and went home.

Unless it is a practice/tourny/big game, it just isn't worth it to me.

But that being said, last time I practiced in the rain with my Viking, didn't do anything special, just played as I normally would, including the superman into the large puddle of water/mud at the fifty. Marker/HALO/Paint kept on rockin without missing a step.
