Great time!
Well, I was at AOSCII. Lots of people didn't recognize me due to the new facial hair. I didn't realize I looked any different. I spent the morning getting the tourney worked out, then I didn't really have to get involved until the finals and the thrown gun incident. I guess it went pretty well, it sure didn't take as long as prior years. What did you guys think? Yea? Nea?
I talked to Jon and Mango and Load ... talk quite a bit to Magik. EZ ... now let me tell you about EZrunner. When he suggested a debate on open vs. closed bolt - he MEANT it! Besides, I understand he's dating Greg's. Bob (TAG) and his wife and that crowd was a welcome sight. Loved the "olypmics" ... right up my alley! Talk to Capo, and Frausty and the Jersey boys and personman in his pie --- and I ate some pie! I think I saw Tom too!
For those who didn't know, I was fresh back from a week-long trip to the west coast, and I was sleeping on my feet all day.
The party started out great but the food thing and the bad beer tap kind of messed things up. I think the awards and give aways and ensuing shenanigans pretty much made up for that. At least the bozos realized they had screwed up in the end.
I didn't make it to the after party party. I was getting some much needed sleep. From the postings, it sounds like I'd have beenin my element. Something to look forward to next year.
