It's a lot like steel braided hose. Just get some fittings, and put it in. With macroline, you can just slide the hose into the fittings. If you want to cut it to a different length, make sure you get it as straight as possible to prevent leaks.

It probably won't snap. I have been using the same macro on my mag for about a year and it hasn't snapped. I was worried when I first got it too. The only bad thing about it is after a few weeks or around a month, it starts to leak. All you have to do is jiggle it around where it enters the fitting to make it stop though. The only time it will snap probably is if you leave your tank attached for extended periods of time(Of course if it has air in it)namely a day or two(It WILL snap if you leave CO2 on it for extended periods).
        Hope I helped.

EDIT: Ok. I'll admit it FalconGuy. I bought some POS macro. I'm so ashamed. Actually I'm just kidding. The macro I use is really old and off my old spyder so that probably why it leaks.

My macro line has not leaked in years. Its all about the quality of the line and the fittings. Also, my line is twisted around like at a 90 degree angle, it will not snap unless its crap.
