Tank trade- questions??

I have a 32 degrees 114/3000 tank with adjustable reg. and I am thinking about trading a guy with an ACI 68/3000 with adjustable reg. My tank hydro date is 11/00 and the ACI has a hydro date of 4/99 so I will have to hydro it in the spring. Now my question, how much cash should I ask for in the difference? I was thinking his tank and $40. Too high or too low?? LMK what you think.

I would probably try for a bit cheaper. If he's trading the adjustable for a non-adjustable, chances are he probably doesn't need the tank to be adjustable so that won't be as important to him in trading. Also, he's getting a bigger tank. See if you can get away with $20.

Hey FL!P both tanks are adjustable, and I want him to give me $40. I don't think you read the post right. Let me know.

I'd try and get alot more than $40 out of him. The ACI tanks arnt all that great anyways, and with it being almost hydro time it may need a new tank. I'd tell the guy to hydro it, then if it passes the test have him throw in a nice $40-$60. If not well then I donno.
