vented ULE body

like the old school RTs but still ULE light and w some fancy milling, i think that would be hella COOL, i would buy one for sure just a thought to toss out...what do you all think

The problem is, that in order to do that, you'd need more material in front of the gun. That kind of negates the idea of it being lighter.

Also, you can't do it to the current body. Since we moved to threaded barrels, you can't cut into the front of the body much.

adding that extra inch of aluminum wont make much differance in weight...i still think it would be sweet
