Well I agree with Silent and Warped1. AGD needs to get a marketing guru in a big way. No ads anywhere. Pbnation, APG, etc., etc., all nada ads. But then again who really knows the inner workings of a genius. Maybe Tom likes it the way it is...

I don't believe that AGD will go out of business anytime soon. I mean, jeez, they are one of 3 Paintball companies that have existed since the 80s...it's highly doubtful they would go out of business now.

But..I do believe that AGD should advertise their products more. I believe that Mags are very underrated. But it annoys me cause I think Mags are underrated because AGD

        1. Doesn't advertise outside of AO.
        2. And no pro teams use them due to sponsorship obligations. The sad thing is, alot of people get certain high end markers just because they see the pros using them. Same goes for Vikings and Excals, they are underrated.

You guys shouldn't be jumping all over the messengers guys. If it wasn't plausible, would it even have come up?

It sounds like you guys believe that if you stick your head in the sand, then the problems disappear. The only reason why people are bringing it up is because they care, they want it to be easier to find parts, and to increase AGD's visibility.

BTW, in case any of you miss the obvious, that $5,000 towards marketing instead of $5,000 in R&D may generate $20,000 in additional profits. That means they can apply maybe an extra $10,000 towards R&D instead of just $5,000. It's called an investment.

                .
                .
Look what happend with the Timmy, a "pro" team won with them and then BAM everyone just had to have them.
I am sure if tom had $100.000+ sitting around to buy a "pro" team sponsership then he would.
                .
But I do remmember a time when AGD had there ads in APG for the RT then RT pro, was kinda nice to see that.

Wonder if Tom will tell us some things?

                  1. How many mags do you shift in a year?

                  2. How many RT/RT Pro's do you shift in a year?

                  3. How many E-mags do you shift in a year?

                  4. How many X-mags do you shift in a year?

I doubt he will answer this as it is a personal question, but I am told that AGD control a large section of the rec community, and by producing aftermarket products that really perform (X-valve, LX, ULE etc) everyone from rec or tournie can upgrade their kit easily and spend money with AGD.
How many people bought the level 10 when it came out? Say 50% of mag users? Then the X-valve came out, how many mag owners bought one of them? And then there are guns, warps, bodies, gorgeous rogue stuff......

they are doing great me thinks, and I'm sure warped that Tom will be crying all the way to the bank.
